Angel Falls Mist - Paint by Numbers Kit

A single ribbon of white water drops down a broad blue-grey tepui, and everything below it dissolves into mist. This Canaima National Park scene shows Angel Falls from across a jungle valley, so the cascade looks small against the huge rock wall behind it.

The palette is calm and cool: muted blues, sage greens and soft whites, with the warm tan streaks on the cliff face as the only contrast. Rounded forest hills stack up in contiguous washes, and pale bands of cloud separate each layer. A small stretch of river catches the morning light at the foot of the valley. Large shapes with gradual color shifts inside them make this a good match for a numbered canvas, and the soft blending rewards a patient hand.

It suits hobbyists who like misty landscapes, beginners ready for a scenic piece with generous shapes, and anyone shopping for a traveler who has Venezuela on their list. Pick up your brushes and paint the falls slowly emerging from the clouds.
